Comprises lightweight acoustic tube earpiece with securing clip that runs down to junction box, and then to specific lead with moulded plug. Other wire runs from junction box to PTT/Microphone that can be held or clipped to jacket.

This design allows the head to move without pulling on the cable.  It is extremely comfortable to wear for long periods. The soft earbud gently moulds itself to the wearers ear.  Similar to other professional headsets used in the broadcast, security and public service industries.

This is much more comfortable than the previous hard "D" types. The "G" part is very flexible unlike the earlier hard types.
